Interest of enforcement officers in alcoholic liquors prohibited

(a) Neither the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration nor any officer, employee, deputy, or assistant thereof shall have any direct or indirect interest in or on any premises where alcoholic liquors are manufactured or sold, nor shall he or she have any direct or indirect interest in any business wholly or partially devoted to the manufacture or sale of alcoholic liquors or own any stock in any corporation which has any direct or indirect interest in the premises where alcoholic liquors are manufactured or sold or in any business wholly or partially devoted to the manufacture or sale of alcoholic liquors. (b) Any person violating any provision of this section shall, in addition to the penalty provided in this act, forfeit his or her office or employment or be removed therefrom.
