Nonconforming devices - Remedies

(a) The General Assembly finds and declares that outdoor advertising signs, displays, or devices which do not conform to the requirements of this subchapter, including those for which there was a failure to first secure permits for the erection of the signs, are nonconforming advertising devices. (b) Therefore, the right is conferred upon the State Highway Commission to enforce the provisions of this subchapter by means of restraining order, mandatory injunction, or other appropriate remedy for the abatement of such nonconforming advertising devices.
