Authority to acquire property

(a) The State Highway Commission is authorized to acquire real or personal property, or any interest therein, deemed to be necessary or desirable for state highway purposes, by gift, devise, purchase, exchange, condemnation, or otherwise. (b) These lands or real property may be acquired in fee simple or in any lesser estate. Acts 1953, No. 419, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 76-532.
