Incorporated municipalities may require reports

(a) By ordinance, any incorporated city, town, village, or other municipality may require that the driver of a vehicle involved in an accident shall also file with a designated city department a report of the accident or a copy of any report required in this subchapter to be filed with the Division of Arkansas State Police. (b) All such reports shall be for the confidential use of the city department and subject to the provisions of § 27-53-208 . Acts 1937, No. 300, § 47; Pope's Dig., § 6705; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-912.
