Conformity to standards

(a) Any electrical traffic control signal device installed on any street, road, or highway in this state shall be in conformance with the standards recommended by the Institute of Transportation Engineers, approved as an American Standard by the American National Standards Institute. (b) All traffic signals shall conform to the state manual and specifications adopted by the State Highway Commission in accordance with the requirements of §§ 27-52-104 and 27-52-106 . Acts 1959, No. 143, § 3; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-511.
