Involvement of unattended vehicle in accident

(a) No entry shall be made into the record of a person whose unattended vehicle has been involved in an accident unless the person's vehicle was illegally parked or the accident was the direct result of negligence on the part of the person who was responsible for the unattended vehicle at the time the accident occurred. (b) The determination that a vehicle was illegally parked shall be made as a result of the conviction of the person for such a violation. Acts 1979, No. 1037, § 6; A.S.A. 1947, § 75-1058.5.
