Purpose

The purpose of this chapter is to: (1) Implement a special license plate law that transfers the authority for approving special license plates to the Secretary of the Department of Finance and Administration; (2) Continue the special license plates that existed before April 13, 2005; and (3) Authorize the Department of Finance and Administration to administratively reissue each type of special license plate continued under this chapter.
