Temporary permit pending registration

The Office of Motor Vehicle, at its discretion, may grant a temporary permit to operate a vehicle for which application for registration and certificate of title has been made where the application is accompanied by the proper fee, pending action upon the application by the Office of Motor Vehicle. The Office of Motor Vehicle, at its discretion, may grant a temporary permit to operate a vehicle for which application for registration and certificate of title has been made where the application is accompanied by the proper fee, pending action upon the application by the Office of Motor Vehicle.
