As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: (1) "Airport" means any area of land or water designed and set aside for the landing and taking off of aircraft and available to and utilized by the general public for private or commercial landing and taking off of aircraft; and (2) "Approach zone" means any area of land or water, according to the current airport approach and turning space standards promulgated by the Federal Aviation Administration which is required for the flight of aircraft in landing or taking off at any airport.
