(a) In all prosecutions in the district courts, the State of Arkansas shall have the same right of appeal to the circuit courts of this state and upon the same terms as the defendant now has under the law in misdemeanor cases. (b) When appealed, the cases shall be tried de novo by the circuit court. Amended by Act 2021, No. 483,§ 17, eff. 7/28/2021.
