Stipend - Authorization for $85

Each of the following state boards, by a majority vote of the total membership of the board cast during its first regularly scheduled meeting of each calendar year, may authorize payment to its members of a stipend not to exceed eighty-five dollars ($85.00) per day for each meeting, examination, evaluation, or inspection attended or for any day while performing any proper business of the board, and the board members shall receive no other compensation, expense reimbursement, or in-lieu-of payments except as provided in § 25-16-902 : (1) Auctioneer's Licensing Board; (2) Arkansas Economic Development Commission; (3) Supervisory Board for the Arkansas Crime Information Center; (4) Board of Corrections; (5) State Board of Education; (6) State Board of Embalmers, Funeral Directors, Cemeteries, and Burial Services; (7) State Board of Health; (8) Arkansas Health Policy Council; (9) State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission; (10) Arkansas Pollution Control and Ecology Commission; (11) Post-Prison Transfer Board; (12) Arkansas Racing Commission; (13) Arkansas Sentencing Commission; (14) Career Education and Workforce Development Board; (15) Oil and Gas Commission; (16) Professional Bail Bond Company and Professional Bail Bondsman Licensing Board; (17) Arkansas Natural Resources Commission; (18) Red River Commission; (19) Board of Trustees of the Arkansas School for the Blind and the Arkansas School for the Deaf; (20) Board of Directors of the Arkansas Development Finance Authority; and (21) [Repealed.] (22) Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board.
