Division of Aging, Adult, and Behavioral Health Services of the Department of Human Services - State and federal funds

(a) The Secretary of the Department of Human Services may use state funds to match federal funds available under Title III and Title V of the Older Americans Act, 42 U.S.C. § 3001 et seq., as they existed on January 1, 2023, the Social Services Block Grant, or other federal funds that become available. (b) All appropriations for state and federal funding for the Division of Aging, Adult, and Behavioral Health Services of the Department of Human Services that are distributed under grant or contract methodologies may be disbursed by the Department of Human Services in the same manner as authorized under federal regulations for the disbursement of funds under Title III of the Older Americans Act, 42 U.S.C. § 3001 et seq., as they existed on January 1, 2023. (c) If federal funding is available for the division during a fiscal year, the federal funding shall be used to conserve or reduce the expenditure of general revenue except when prohibited by law.
