Programs and policies - Development

The Office of Minority Mental Health shall develop programs and policies concerning the following: (1) Providing culturally relevant mental health services to minority individuals with mental illness; (2) Improving the availability and accessibility of mental health services to minority individuals with long-term mental illnesses; (3) Educating minority individuals with mental illness about their illness; (4) Providing minority families with education on mental illness; and (5) Providing accessible educational training within the mental health setting and the minority community.
