Powers of commission, commissioners, and examiners

The commission and each of the commissioners and examiners specifically designated to make investigations, for the purposes mentioned in this act, may: (1) Issue subpoenas, subpoenas duces tecum, and all necessary process in proceedings pending before the commission, a commissioner, or an examiner; (2) Administer oaths, examine witnesses, compel the production of records, books, papers, files, documents, contracts, correspondence, agreements, or accounts necessary for any investigation being conducted; and (3) Certify official acts.
