(a) The Arkansas Department of Transportation shall have the right to employ one (1) or more inspectors as may be needed for the purpose of making inspections of licensees from time to time. (b) If any person, firm, or corporation is operating without complying with the provisions of this act, then the Attorney General or any interested party may institute suit in any circuit court where service on the defendant may be had, restraining the further operation of motor vehicles by the person, firm, or corporation until the provisions of this act are complied with. (c) Nothing contained in this act shall be construed to relieve any motor vehicle carrier from any rule imposed by law or lawful authority. Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 2416, eff. 7/24/2019.
