(a) All references to "commission" in this chapter mean the Arkansas Racing Commission or its successor having jurisdiction over thoroughbred horse racing in this state. (b) In addition to all other duties, powers, and responsibilities conferred upon it by other laws of this state, the commission shall exercise duties, powers, and responsibilities over greyhound racing as authorized in this chapter.
