(a) The purchase price of lands acquired shall be paid at the time of acquisition from the State Forestry Fund, and the acquisition shall not impose any liability upon the general credit or taxing power of the state. (b) All lands acquired under the provisions of this subchapter shall become the property of the state. (c) The Arkansas Forestry Commission is authorized, empowered, and directed to make requisite expenditures from the fund in executing the provisions of this subchapter and in protecting, developing, and administering the lands in the production, conservation, and marketing of forest products and in the forestation and reforestation of the lands.
