State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission - Rulemaking power - Penalty

(a) The State Parks, Recreation, and Travel Commission may establish and alter rules governing the use and protection of the state parks system and the property thereon and to preserve the peace therein. (b) A person who violates a rule established under subsection (a) of this section shall be guilty of an unclassified misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine of at least one hundred dollars ($100) and not more than five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment for not more than thirty (30) days, or both.
