As used in this subchapter: (1) "Land" means upland; land under water; the water of any lake, pond, or stream; any and all incorporeal hereditaments; and every estate, interest, and right, either legal or equitable, in land or water, including terms for years, liens thereon by way of judgment, mortgage, or otherwise, and all claims for damages to such property; and (2) "Park" means any area within the state which by reason of location, natural features, scenic beauty, or historical interest possesses distinctive physical, aesthetic, intellectual, creative, and social values.
