(a) County quorum courts, city councils, and other municipal governing bodies are authorized to appropriate money for the purpose of maintaining county and municipal offices jointly with the Department of Veterans Affairs, on either a full-time or part-time basis. (b) All offices shall be under the supervision of the Secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs, and all work of the offices shall be coordinated with the department.
