(a) There shall be a Director of the Health Services Permit Agency, who shall be the executive head of the Health Services Permit Agency. (b) The director shall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the Senate, and shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor. (c) The director shall report to the Secretary of the Department of Health. Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 4956, eff. 7/1/2019. Acts 1987, No. 593, § 5; 2001, No. 1800, § 10.
