Authority to enter agreements

Subject to the conditions and limitations contained in this subchapter, the Division of Children and Family Services of the Department of Human Services may enter into agreements with public agencies, private nonprofit organizations, or combinations thereof from adjoining states for the purpose of performing the responsibility to the residents of Arkansas that are in need of regular or therapeutic child care. This includes financial participation, using any funds that are at the division's disposal, to the extent that similar services would be performed within the state. Acts 1997, No. 939, § 2.
