(a) (1) The State Board of Health shall meet at least one (1) time every three (3) months. (2) Upon the call of the President of the State Board of Health or a majority of the members of the board, the board shall meet at such other times as may be necessary in the interest of public health. (b) (1) The board may adopt bylaws regulating the transaction of its business and provide within the bylaws for the appointment of committees to which the board may delegate authority and power for all duties committed to the board, but under the direction and subject to the control of the board. (2) The board may also adopt and use an official seal. (c) A majority of the members of the board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business and for the performance of such duties as the board may prescribe.
