The State Fire Marshal shall advise and assist the Arkansas Fire Protection Licensing Board in the adoption of policies and procedures for the: (1) Effective monitoring of the sale, installation, and servicing of portable fire extinguishers; (2) Sale, installation, and servicing of fixed fire protection systems; (3) Design, installation, inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fire protection sprinkler systems, including standpipe and hose systems; and (4) Registration and licensing of firms and individuals providing these goods and services.
