Misrepresentation as a service animal - Civil penalty

(a) An individual shall not misrepresent an animal to be a service animal or service animal-in-training to a person or entity that operates a public accommodation. (b) An individual who violates subsection (a) of this section may be subject to a civil penalty not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250) for each violation.
