(a) There is imposed an additional annual fee of one hundred dollars ($100) for the inspection and permitting of ambulances. The fee shall be collected in addition to the fee provided in § 20-13-211(5) . (b) There is imposed an annual fee of five hundred dollars ($500) for the issuance or renewal of an operational permit for an ambulance service, advanced life support rescue service, or air ambulance service. The fee required by this subsection shall be in addition to all other requirements for the issuance or renewal of an operational permit and shall be required in each county in which the ambulance service, including air ambulance services, has an operational base.
