Patient records - Penalties for alteration

(a) Any person who fraudulently alters, defaces, or falsifies any medical or other long-term care facility record or causes or procures any of these offenses to be committed commits a Class A misdemeanor. (b) A conviction under this section is also grounds for restriction, suspension, or termination of license privileges for the person. Acts 1999, No. 1181, § 5.
