If the Attorney General refuses to bring an action provided for or authorized by this chapter, any person claiming a violation therefor, upon notice to the Attorney General, may apply to the court for leave to bring the action in his or her own name and may bring the action if leave therefor is granted. Acts 1979, No. 1096, § 6; A.S.A. 1947, § 77-2206. Pursuant to section 2-3-111, which became effective 7/28/2021, sections 2-3-101 through 2-3-110 are suspended while the Agricultural Foreign Investment Disclosure Act, 7 U.S.C. § 3501 et seq., is in effect .
