Notice of standards

(a) In promulgating the standards or any alterations or modifications of the standards, the State Plant Board shall specify the date when they shall become effective and shall give public notice, not less than thirty (30) days in advance of the date when the standard for any agricultural product shall become effective and one (1) year in advance of the date when the standard for any container shall become effective, by such means as the board deems proper. (b) The Director of the State Plant Board is authorized and empowered to employ reasonable methods for diffusing information concerning the standard that may be fixed by the board for any agricultural product or container.
