Proceeds from sale of lumber on military bases

(a) All moneys received by the Treasurer of State from the United States Government from the sale of lumber and timber products on United States military installations shall be distributed to the respective counties in which the property is situated. (b) (1) Seventy-five percent (75%) of the moneys for each county shall be distributed to the respective school districts of the county in the same proportion that the lumber and timber products sold within that school district have to the total of lumber and timber products sold in the county. (2) The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the moneys for each county shall be credited to the county road fund. (3) The county treasurer shall make distribution of the school districts' portions on an equitable basis if the data required for making distribution of funds as provided in this section is not available at the time funds are available for distribution.
