Fallen Firefighters' Memorial Fund

(a) There is created on the books of the Treasurer of State, the Auditor of State, and the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State a special revenue fund to be known as the "Fallen Firefighters' Memorial Fund". (b) (1) All moneys collected under § 27-24-1303(c)(2)(C) shall be deposited into the State Treasury to the credit of the fund as special revenues. (2) The fund also shall consist of any other revenues as may be authorized by law. (c) (1) The moneys deposited into the fund shall be used by the Secretary of State to satisfy the fee requirements for placement, improvements to, or replacement of the monument or memorial area under § 19-5-1125(c) . (2) All maintenance and costs shall be approved by the Arkansas Fallen Firefighters' Memorial Board and the Capitol Arts and Grounds Commission.
