(a) Interest from time to time due by a bank depository on Cash Account demand deposit accounts and Certificate of Deposit Account certificates of deposit shall be paid to the Treasurer of State as directed by the Treasurer of State. (b) The interest income shall be classified as trust fund income, and the net amount of the interest income shall be credited to the Securities Reserve Fund.
