Construction - Preemption of other laws

This subchapter shall: (1) Be construed liberally and applied to promote its underlying purposes and policies; and (2) Preempt any conflicting state statutes and principles of common law or equity. Amended by Act 2021, No. 793,§ 1, eff. 7/28/2021. Acts 1979, No. 482, § 2; A.S.A. 1947, § 14-233.1.
