Lien for production of labor

All laborers who shall perform work and labor for any person under a written or verbal contract shall have an absolute lien on the production of their labor for the work and labor if unpaid for it. Acts 1868, No. 64, § 1, p. 176; C. & M. Dig., § 6848; Pope's Dig., § 8804; A.S.A. 1947, § 51-301.
