Fees and expenses

(a) For each day necessarily employed, to be charged as costs and expenses and paid out of the county treasury, all persons required to render services under the provisions of this subchapter shall receive: (1) As viewers or reviewers, one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per day; (2) As chain carriers or markers, one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per day; and (3) As surveyors, five dollars ($5.00) per day. (b) The amount due to each person and the number of days employed shall be certified under oath by the viewers or reviewers. (c) The county shall be reimbursed for the payments so made and for all other necessary expenses incident to proceedings by the petition, as provided in this subchapter. (d) The clerk of the county court shall receive the fees as by law he or she may be entitled to, the fees to be taxed as costs and paid as provided in this subchapter.
