An individual who is not licensed under this subchapter is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and is subject to penalties applicable to the unlicensed practice of medicine if he or she: (1) Holds himself or herself out as a graduate registered physician; or (2) Uses any combination or abbreviation of the term "graduate registered physician" to indicate or imply that he or she is a graduate registered physician.
