(a) (1) (A) At least two (2) regular meetings of the Arkansas Dietetics Licensing Board shall be held each calendar year, and at the first regular meeting every two (2) years, the board shall elect a chair and vice chair. (B) Other regular meetings may be held at such time as the rules of the board may provide. (2) Special called meetings may be held at the discretion of the Chair of the Arkansas Dietetics Licensing Board or at the written request of any two (2) members of the board. (3) Reasonable notice of all meetings shall be given in the manner prescribed by the laws of this state. (4) A quorum of the board shall consist of three (3) members. (5) A secretary of the board shall be employed by the Department of Health. (6) The board shall adopt a seal, which must be affixed to all certificates issued by the board. (b) The Department of Health shall employ personnel for the performance of the board's functions and the board may disburse funds to the Department of Health to employ necessary personnel for the performance of the board's functions.
