(a) (1) For dental assistants who perform expanded duties, all permits issued by the Arkansas State Board of Dental Examiners shall continue in full force and effect until forfeited, suspended, or revoked. (2) However, on January 1 of odd-numbered years every dental assistant must register his or her permit with the board on forms prepared and furnished by the board. (b) A registration fee of not more than sixty dollars ($60.00) to be fixed by the board must be paid to the board upon the filing of the form duly executed with the board. (c) The procedures for registration and penalties for failure to register permits of dentists as stated in §§ 17-82-310 - 17-82-314 will apply to the registration of permits by dental assistants.
