(a) (1) The Arkansas Natural Resources Commission may adopt, and from time to time amend or repeal, rules governing applications for water well contractor licenses. (2) The commission shall license as a water well contractor any person properly making application on a form prepared and furnished by the commission. (b) Any person whose application for a license to engage in business as a water well contractor has been denied may request, and shall be granted, a hearing in the county where the complainant has his or her place of business before an appropriate officer of the commission. (c) No application for a license issued pursuant to § 17-50-304 may be made within one (1) year after revocation thereof. Amended by Act 2023, No. 691,§ 134, eff. 7/1/2023.
