(a) The Identification Bureau of the Division of Arkansas State Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation may retain the fingerprints collected for each individual who is fingerprinted under this chapter. (b) The Director of the Division of Arkansas State Police may enroll a person issued a license, credential, or commission under this chapter in a program that electronically notifies law enforcement if the person has been arrested.
