Director of the Division of Arkansas State Police - Powers and duties

(a) The Director of the Division of Arkansas State Police may perform the functions and duties enumerated in this subchapter and subchapter 2 with respect to the licensing of polygraph examiners and interns and perform all other acts incidental and necessary to the proper performance of the functions and duties as prescribed in this subchapter and subchapter 2. (b) The director shall issue rules consistent with this subchapter and subchapter 2 for the administration and enforcement of this subchapter and subchapter 2 and shall prescribe and issue forms in connection with these rules. (c) The director shall perform duties prescribed by this subchapter and subchapter 2 and shall have no financial, personal, or business interests, contingent or otherwise, in an entity within his or her licensing authority. (d) The director or his or her designee is the agent for service of process for all legal process and documents required by law to be served in conjunction with this subchapter and subchapter 2.
