Duty of Attorney General

(a) The Attorney General or his or her assistant shall act as legal advisor to the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors and render such legal assistance as necessary in carrying out this chapter. (b) It is the duty of the Attorney General to enforce this chapter and to prosecute any person violating this chapter. (c) The board may employ counsel and necessary assistance to aid in the enforcement of this chapter or request assistance from the Department of Labor and Licensing, and the compensation and expenses shall be paid from the funds of the board.
