(a) A corporation or partnership may engage in the business of contracting when licensed by the Contractors Licensing Board. (b) It shall be unlawful and a violation of this chapter for any two (2) or more contractors, whether doing business as individuals, partnerships, corporations, or other organizations, to jointly submit a bid or enter into a contract for construction as a joint venture unless all parties to the joint venture are licensed pursuant to this chapter.
