Qualifications of applicants

Any person shall be qualified to receive a certificate of registration to practice as a registered barber who: (1) Is qualified under this chapter; (2) Has passed a satisfactory examination conducted by the State Board of Barber Examiners to determine his or her fitness to practice barbering; (3) Is at least sixteen and one-half (161/2) years of age; and (4) Has received training approved by the appropriate licensing authorities.
