(a) The State Board of Health shall adopt rules concerning the investigation of a complaint filed with the Department of Health. The rules adopted under this section shall: (1) Ensure that complaints are not dismissed without appropriate consideration; and (2) Ensure that the person who filed the complaint has an opportunity to explain the allegations made in the complaint. (b) The department shall dispose of all complaints in a timely manner. Amended by Act 2019, No. 315,§ 1670, eff. 7/24/2019. Acts 1999, No. 888, § 16.
