Each licensee shall be required to pay biennial license renewal fees and meet continuing education requirements as specified in this chapter. A licensee who fails to renew his or her license within one (1) year after its expiration may not renew it, and it may not be restored, reissued, or reinstated thereafter, but that person may apply for and obtain a new license if he or she meets the following requirements: (1) Meets all current standards of the Arkansas State Board of Acupuncture and Related Techniques; and (2) Takes and passes the examination and pays all fees associated therewith as if seeking a license for the first time.
