Veterinarians - Temporary permit

(a) The Director of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission or his or her designee may issue without examination a temporary permit to practice veterinary medicine in this state to a qualified applicant for a license pending examination and provided that the temporary permit shall expire the day after the notice or results of the first examination given after the permit is issued. (b) A temporary permit may be issued or revoked by majority vote of the Arkansas Livestock and Poultry Commission. Amended by Act 2023, No. 691,§ 156, eff. 7/1/2023.
