(a) No person shall practice or represent himself or herself as a speech-language pathologist or audiologist in this state unless he or she is licensed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. (b) A license shall be granted either in speech-language pathology or audiology independently. A person may be licensed in both areas if he or she meets the respective qualifications.
