(a) This section shall be known and may be cited as the "Workforce Freedom Act of 2021". (b) Unless specifically authorized by the General Assembly, cities, counties, or other political subdivisions of the state shall not enact a requirement for licensing, certification, or registration for any profession or occupation in a manner that duplicates a requirement for licensing, certification, or registration that is already enacted by the state.
