(a) The criminal jurisdiction of the State of Arkansas is extended as follows: Beginning at a point where the north boundary line of Arkansas intersects the west bank of the Mississippi River and extending east along a line in extension of and parallel to the said north boundary of Arkansas to the east bank of the said Mississippi River; thence south along the bank, and following the meandering thereof to a point where a line drawn east along and parallel to the south boundary of Arkansas would intersect the east bank of the Mississippi River, thence west along that line to a point where the south boundary line of Arkansas intersects the west bank of the Mississippi River. (b) The State of Arkansas and her sister states, Tennessee and Mississippi, have concurrent criminal jurisdiction over the parts of the territory lying opposite them and between the lines extending and parallel to their north and south boundaries.
